He has stopped it, at least for now. The judge said the Muslim ban was worse for the country than any kind of security problems it was designed to prevent. In other words: Trump said the ban will help, but the judge said it would actually hurt the country. So it has been temporarily stopped.

Wrestling Likely To Be Dropped As An Olympic Sport https://teachingkidsnews.com/2013/02/19/1-wrestling-likely-to-be-dropped-as-an-olympic-sport/ https://teachingkidsnews.com/2013/02/19/1-wrestling-likely-to-be-dropped-as-an-olympic-sport/#comments Wed, 20 Feb 2013 03:11:55 +0000 https://teachingkidsnews.com/?p=9220 The International Olympic Committee is planning to drop wrestling as an Olympic sport as of the 2020 Summer Games.

Some countries will feel the loss more deeply than others.

Many Iranians view wrestling as their national sport.

The governments of Iran and the United States don’t normally agree on much. In fact, they are currently in a major disagreement about weapons.

But they are standing together on the issue of wrestling. They both want it put back in the Olympics, and they are willing to work together to make it happen.

Many Syrians have been protesting against its government, which has been accused of doing terrible things to its own people.

The fighting between the Syrian government and its opponents this year has been intense and very violent.

Many Syrians want al-Assad to step down as leader. They want to be able to elect a new leader. (Bashar al-Assad’s family has ruled Syria for more than 40 years.)

Arab Spring refers to a series of uprisings by the people in a number of Arab countries.

The citizens rebelled when they could no longer put up with dictators and their cruelty.

They forced the President of Tunisia to flee to Saudi Arabia and the President of Egypt to quit his job and move away.
