Lots of people wear glasses to make their vision better, or even just for fashion.
But when Noah, 4, found out he needed glasses, he wasn’t happy about it.
In fact, he was downright sad.
His mother asked him why he was so sad about having to wear glasses.
Noah told her he was worried that everyone would laugh at him.
Noah’s mother started a Facebook page (called “Glasses for Noah”) to show Noah that wearing glasses is cool.
She asked people to post pictures of themselves and their kids wearing glasses.
That way, Noah could see how many people love wearing glasses and perhaps feel better about his own glasses.
And it worked.
More than 65,000 people from more than 30 countries have “Liked” Noah’s Facebook page, and many of them posted photos of themselves wearing glasses or left notes of encouragement for Noah.
People have even posted pictures of superheroes in glasses (like Superman and the Hulk), celebrities (including Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake), cartoon characters (like SpongeBob Squarepants), dogs, and even a horse wearing glasses.
Noah’s mom has shown him all the pictures and messages people have posted on the Facebook page.
She said they’ve made Noah very happy and he is feeling a lot better about his glasses.
